Lawsuit to the tax tribunal against the land elders of Lublin concerning the increase of the poll tax for the Jews from Łęczna

Seweryn Józef Rzewuski, Great Referendary of the Crown, the Starost of Lubomla and Nowosielsk, the landlord of the Łęczna property, together with the kahal in Łęczna sue the land elders of the Lublin province: Chaim Abramowicz from Lublin, Josio from Opole, Jakub from Zwoleń, Lejbuś from Kurów to the tax tribunal in Radom for increasing the poll tax rate for the local Jews, despite them being in a worse financial situation. The plaintiffs refer to the decree by the Radom tribunal ordering the respondents to reimburse the overstated share from the previous years.
